Aeronautical Park and Aeronaval Museum

Headquartered Veranillo old airport was announced February 21, 2000 by the National Council of National Monuments of the Ministry of Culture cultural interest of national character. With the construction of the park, Air Navigation and Aeronautical Museum of El Sitio de Veranillo, Barranquilla is designed to give historical value that it was the place of birth of commercial aviation in Colombia and South America, and the site of one of the first companies in the world, such as Scadta.
