Animal Horn Museum
Animal Horn museum is Asia's biggest museum. The owner is Mr Prasert Srisanyong who has inherited most animal horns from his ancestors. Hunting was once one of the popular sports. The museum exhibits a hundred thousand animal horns and antique objects aged from 100 years to 16 million years old. The majority of the museum shows animal horns and skulls, especially in Thailand such as horns of gaurs, and grey oxen. The outstanding pieces are the 2-meter-long tusks of mammoth which were found in the northeastern part of Thailand and the horns of Sc homburg's deer which was ranked to be the world's most beautiful horns. They cannot be found in anywhere but in the central part of Thailand, and they have become extinct for 150 years.
