Boljoon Parish Museum
The Boljoon Parish Museum is located at the ground floor of the rectory of the Boljoon Parish Church. It houses a rich collection of archaeological treasures showing the rich history of this southern town. Some relics and antiques displayed at the museum are around half a century old. Aside from the liturgical items used by the priests and friars in the past, the museum also houses some archaeological items from residents who lived in the area even before the coming of the Spaniards.
The museum also houses old handwritten parish records that date back to the 17th century, including baptismal and death records. An old wooden image of Santo Tomas de Villanueva is also on display at the museum. This particular image is one of the three remaining original wooden sculptures of the saint in the country.
