National Museum of Sudan

Sudan National Museum is one of the largest and most important museums in Sudan, is located on the Nile Road next to the Friendship Hall building where the main entrance leads towards the Blue Nile and just before the confluence of the Nile.
The importance of the museum is that it contains all periods of Sudanese civilization from the stone age to the Islamic through the Nubian and Christian monuments, the museum was opened in 1971.
The interior galleries of the museum include many stones, leather, bronze, iron, wooden and other objects in the form of sculptures, vessels, decorative objects, wall paintings, weapons, etc.
