RIVA ART SPACE
A new art space RIVA ART SPACE was opened in Moscow.
The first event was the exhibition of the eponymous RIVA GALLERY "Spectrum 360".
A new art space, RIVA ART SPACE, dedicated to contemporary art was opened in Moscow.
The first exhibition, Spectrum 360, created by the RIVA GALLERY team and curator Yulia Agapova, appeals to the full range of human feelings. Human beings as the object and subject of art.
The idea of creating RIVA ART SPACE came as a natural evolution of the RIVA gallery, which began its activities as a family gallery, based on the private collection of the Golman family, compiled over the past 20 years and has more than a thousand works of different artists. RIVA GALLERY is the preservation of tradition, continuity and a new way - a way to search for new names and find new solutions at the intersection of design and art.
In the contemporary art market there is a division into decorative art, designed to conduct a dialogue with the space and conceptual art, designed to conduct a dialogue with the person.
The aim of the gallery is to show that at the junction of the decorative approach and conceptual component there is a whole layer of perspective artists whose works combine all the elements in the interior correctly, but most importantly, make the person the main character of the created space, through the emotions that he lives in this space thanks to the art, and through which fills the objects with meanings.
RIVA GALLERY sees its mission as the development and promotion of Russian contemporary art. Among the gallery's priorities: producing artists and supporting new names, advising novice collectors, and conducting art education activities within the new space.
RIVA GALLERY selects artworks individually for each guest, helping to organize the art objects in the space and create cohesive collections.
Every few months, the curators of the RIVA ART SPACE space create themed exhibitions featuring a variety of artists speaking to a common theme. To reflect the immensity of art, RIVA ART SPACE exhibitions present artists of different styles, so RIVA shows how each collection and the space in which it is housed can be unique.
Art is a reflection of society, a mirror of modern man, reflecting reality in 360 degrees. -says the founder of the space and gallery owner- Elizabeth Golman
