The museum's funds includes over twenty thousand art objects. Among them there is a collection of Russian icons of the XVII and the beginning of the XX century, ceremonial and chamber portraits of the XVIII century, landscape, genre and portrait paintings of Russian masters of the XIX century: K.P. Bryullov, S.F. Shchedrin, V.A.Tropinin, V.G. Perov, A.K. Savrasov, L.I. Solomatkin, I.I. Shishkin, K.E. Makovsky, V.V. Vereshchagin, A.I. Kuindzhi, I.I. Levitan. The turn of the XIX-XX centuries represented by the art works painted by V.A. Serov, M.A. Vrubel, M.V. Nesterov, K.A.Somov, K.A. Korovin, V.E. Borisov-Musatov, N. K. Roerich, P.P.Konchalovsky. A special prideof the museum is the collection of the Russian avant-garde represented by the art works of V.V. Kandinsky, K.S. Malevich, A.V. Lentulov, R.R. Falk, V.M. Khodasevich, O.V. Rozanova, M. Z. Shagal.
