The Atkarsk Museum of Local History

The permanent exhibition takes three rooms. The archaeological collection, including objects from the Paleolithic period is one of particular interest to visitors. A significant part of the exhibition is devoted to the inhabitants of Atkarsk - participants of the Great Patriotic War and rear workers. The exhibition hall displays paintings by local artists, samples of arts and crafts. The thematic exhibitions based on museum collections are held from time to time.
