Bangkok Seashell Museum

Bangkok Sea Shell Museum is created from the intention of a sea shell collector and two-time winner on sea shells of the "Faen Phan Thae"(real fan) TV programme, Mr.Somwang Patthamakhanthin and Ms. Oraphin Sirirat who has loved sea shells since her childhood.The three-level building houses a beautifully displayed collection of specimens – 3,000 specimen overall encompassing more than 600 species – in pieces ranging from the minuscule to the massive including a 300-kilogram giant clam. The museum also features a gift shop offering shell jewellery, art works and other items.
