Eger Basilica
The Basilica of St. John the Apostle or more formally the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Apostle and the Evangelist, St. Michael the Apostle and the Evangelist Immaculate Conception Basilica Basilica) also called Eger Cathedral is a religious building affiliated with the Catholic Church that functions as the Laciary of the Archdiocese of Eger, is located in the city of Eger, in the European country of Hungary.
The cathedral was built between 1831 and 1837 by József Hilda commissioned by Archbishop János László Pyrker.
