Franz Mayer Museum
Franz Mayer Museum has the largest collection of arts and crafts in Latin America. German financier Franz Mayer collected exhibits for the museum more than 50 years. In 1975, he created a trust fund Heritage Bank of Mexico, but the museum was opened only in 1986, 11 years after Mayer's death. The collection features decorative items and other items featuring designer styles XV-XX centuries, for example, books, textiles, ceramics, glass and porcelain, jewelry and works of art and religious relics.
