The House-Museum of the Tukaevs Family

The house-museum of the Tukayev family was created in the homeland of the great Tatar poet G.Tukai. The museum is located in the restored manor of Mullah Mukhametharif. The exposition represents the house of the famous poet, his inner world order. The female half of the house is the world of the mother, the traditional image of the rural Tatar house, where much was done with skillful female hands. The exhibition contains the personal belongings of the poet’s mother. An operating stove creates a homely mood. A large section is devoted to the life of G.Tukai, his formation as a person, a citizen, a poet.
