The Gallery and Exhibition Hall «Solyanka VPA»

Today the Gallery is dedicated to contemporary art, demonstrates: all sorts of forms of performance (including varieties of contemporary dance that are close to this genre), films of artists, original cinema, animation, and kinetic sculpture. "Solyanka" is a classical artist-run space, which hosts exhibitions of art works by the iconic authors of contemporary art from around the world: Marina Abramovich, Deichen Shye, Vito Acconci, Vali Export and the Gelitin groups in a performance; Francis Alus, Sigalit Landau and AES + F in video art; Andrei Tarkovsky, Sergei Paradzhanov and Tonino Guerra in the cinema; Yuri Norshtein, Hayao Miyazaki and Zbigniew Rybczynski in animation.
