The Museum «English Compound»

The museum presents an exposition dedicated to the life of an English merchant's house on Varvarka in the XVI-XVII centuries and the emerging of relations between England and Muscow. In the recreated interiors are copies of old books, documents and reconstruction of household items that accompanied the Englishmen of the times of Shakespeare on their travels in Russia and dangerous sea expeditions that brought the two powers to the Epoch of great geographical discoveries together.
