Museen Maur
Includes prints and publications by the Zurich engraver and book publisher David Herrliberger (1697–1777), who was the last judge of Maur from 1749–1777 to reside in the castle, and other products from Zurich letterpress, book illustration, and printmaking from the 16th to 19th centuries. The basic inventory from the Werner Suter (Maur) collection was developed by the Maur community acquired, since then expanded through further purchases and donations. Herrliberger's most important regional and folkloric works, among which three episodes with views of Zurich castles and palaces and the Zurich town crier published in 1749–1751, have been on permanent display in the B urg Maur since 1976. The show collection was newly established in 2006.
