Here the Chinese history is described, in short, as: China was in bad shape, then came the communists and saved China and now everything is great.

This is an interesting museum if you want to understand the propaganda of the communist regime and the "world view" they are trying to convey to the people of China. Nothing is said about the student rising at Tiamen Square in 1989, nor of Tibet wanting its independence. The similarity between former days emperor and today's rulers is striking. The people of China are still supposed to be the inferior ones and the communist chairmen the superior rulers.
