Narino Gold Museum
The Nariño Gold Museum of the Banco de la República in Pasto rescues the legacy of the indigenous cultures that occupied the department for some 2,500 years, preserving and recognizing the ancestral memory through its collection of ceramics and goldsmiths, with the aim of generating processes of conservation, research, analysis and dissemination of cultural heritage.
Completely renovated in 2016, the tour of the Museum exhibits the life, knowledge and arts of creative and industrious societies of the rich and diverse Nariño region, both those that populated the southern-Colombian highlands and the Tumaco de la llanura society. Pacific coast.
