The Archaeological Museum-Reseve «Tanais»
The archaeological museum-reserve "Tanais" is the first archaeological reserve in Russia. It was created on the basis of the excavations of the monument of federal significance, the settlement and the necropolis of Tanais - the extreme northeastern point of ancient civilization. The most interesting finds of archaeologists are presented in the historical exposition of the museum.
