The Museum of History and Local Lore

The local history museum is dedicated to natural history, its expositions are decorated with family portraits of Demidovs by famous Russian and Western European artists, famous Demidov vertu and advertising products of Tagil factories of the XIX century. In addition, the exposition shows the ancient settlement of the region - unique wooden objects from the Gorbunovsky peat bog under the age of 5 thousand years, also tells about the development of the Urals by the Russian population in the XVI-XVII centuries.
