San Pedro Museum Cemetery

The only place in Medellín that operates under the connotation of Cemetery Museum, it was recognized as a site museum in 1998 and declared an Asset of Cultural Interest of National Character according to resolution 1616 November 26, 1999 of the Ministry of Culture. The Cemetery is a living open-air museum, a ritual and artistic space, a place for the living and the dead. Stage for the expression of affection, pain and memory where visitors can evoke the remote or immediate past of Medellín.
