State Fine Arts Gallery
Today, this mansion, which serves the people of our province as the State Fine Arts Gallery, is known as the Old English Mansion, Madam Hettie's home, Necip Paşa Mansion among our people. After the mansion was allocated to our Directorate, the land registry records were investigated and it was discovered that it belonged to Necip Pasha, the Bahriefit Bosphorus Artillery Livas, until 1300 (1884).
Upon the certainty that the mansion belongs to Necip Pasha, upon the questions we asked to our city; It was learned that Necip Pasha and his family were well known, Pasha was helpful, devoted and very wealthy, and despite the wealth he made, Necip Pasha Mosque on the street with the mansion was unknown.
