The Museu do Carro Eléctrico's mission is to preserve, conserve and interpret, for the benefit of the public, species and artefacts illustrative and representative of the history and development of urban public transport on rails in the city of Porto. Through the investigation and exhibition of its collections, the organization of cultural exhibitions and programs, the Museu do Carro Eléctrico provides its audiences with the opportunity to learn, experience and get to know the history, development and socio-economic impact of public transport on rails in the city of Porto.
