The Russia Submarine forces Museum of A.I. Marinesco
The Museum is named after the brave submariner Alexander Ivanovich Marinesko, who during the great Patriotic war commanded the submarine S-13 and became famous for his "Attack of the century", which led to the sinking of the huge German liner "Wilhelm Gustlov".From 9 January to 15 February 1945, while making his fifth combat campaign, Marinesko and his crew sank two large German transports-the Wilhelm Gustlov and the Steuben.
