Trabzon History Museum

The Trabzon History Museum, which was opened in Trabzon, whose name has been the subject of legends and novels with its historical history of more than 4 thousand years, has been an important contribution to the cultural identity of Trabzon with its rich collection.

The idea of ​​establishing a museum of history in the early years of the Republic, which was opened for discussion in the public in 1925, was realized by Ortahisar Municipality, even after a delay of approximately eighty years, and the will of our ancestors was fulfilled.
